I have quite a few pet peeves but one that really just irks me beyond belief is when I hear a wife or even WORSE a Dad say the Dad is "watching/babysitting" their own children. Here's a headline...they helped create them..it's called PARENTING.

oh gosh, I know what you mean, Christy, but I was so guilty of this when the kids were younger. I actually would thank my husband for watching them for me the few and far between times he did when I had to run an errand I couldn't take them with me for.
