A Request for a Friend

I need your help. I have a friend who's looking for a book (or books) that can help her minister to someone she loves deeply. This person feels that GOD does not love them, and of course my sweet friend knows he's love by our Lord. So help me out please. I don't want to go into too many details, but suffice it to say hard childhood, adulthood challenges, someone that you are supposed to be able to love and trust because of who they are in your life and the fact that they're in the ministry and did the exact opposite. This is an ADULT, which is important, and this person needs to know how loved they are by GOD and that GOD has not and will never turn their back on them. I know these books are out there, but I'm honestly drawing a blank right now. (Christian based obviously)

Thank you (just leave your suggestion in the comments section and if you will ask others if you don't have a suggestion and ask them to send me the name of the book and author that'd truly be appreciated!)

I don't have any suggestions, but go to Christian book.com. I believe there is a book called Love beyond reason that sounds like something that might help.

I would suggest "Your Scars Are Beautiful To God" by Sharon Jaynes....it's helped me thru a lot of hurts.

How terribly sad. Please suggest the wonderful book "THE GOD OF ALL COMFORT' by Hannah Whitall Smith. It is one of my favorites, a book well worth buying extras of. You may want to buy one for yourself, hon. It is such a blessing. I'll be praying for your friend and the one she is trying to help.
Much love,
Barb

His Princess: Letters from your King

http://www.amazon.com/His-Princess-Love-Letters-Your/dp/1590523318/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1267702281&sr=8-3

Its a book of letters written as if by God to Women... I had it and lent it to someone years ago -- I believe the letters are organized by issue... like in times of joy, times of sorry, times of fear...

Great collection of letters - might be on target for your friend's friend...
